Eileen Altman

Reverend Dr. Eileen Altman was trained at The Climate Project in Nashville during October 2008 in the Faith Session. Eileen has been the Associate Minister at First Congregational United Church of Christ of Palo Alto since July of 2007. Prior to her seminary studies, Eileen was a stay-at-home mom to her son for several years, after a ten-year career working for healthier communities in low-income neighborhoods of Chicago.
Reverend Eileen holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Pacific School of Religion, a B.A. in Psychology from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia and a Ph.D. in clinical-community and social psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Altman’s leisure activities include hiking (especially with her dog, Blackie), reading, practicing yoga, and attending her son's sports and musical activities. Eileen is currently living in Santa Cruz, California.
