Peter Bakken

Dr. Peter Bakken was trained at The Climate Project in Nashville in October of 2008 at the Faith Session. Dr. Bakken is the Coordinator for Public Policy at Wisconsin Council of Churches and Director of Wisconsin Interfaith Power and Light as well.
Previously Dr. Bakken was the coordinator of outreach at Au Sable Institute of Environmental Studies for 14 years. Peter received his Ph.D. in Theology from the University of Chicago. His publications include Church on Earth: Grounding Your Ministry in a Sense of Place and Evocations of Grace: Writings on Ecology, Theology and Ethics. He currently resides in Madison, Wisconsin.
