Meet Our Presenters


Michelle Bende

Enterprise, Alabama, United States

Michelle Bende was trained at The Climate Project in Nashville in December of 2006 at Session 2.  Michelle chairs the Commission on Environment and Integrity of Creation for the Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast. She is also a member of the Interfaith Environmental Initiative of Alabama.

She was formerly a schoolteacher and park naturalist, but has taught piano for 20 years. Ms. Bende is a member of the Music Teachers National Association, Alabama Music Teachers Association, and the Wiregrass Music Teachers Association. Bende holds degrees in forest wildlife biology, education, and environmental Science, and a minor in music.  Michelle lives near Enterprise, Alabama.
