Jordan Berke

Jordan Berke was trained at The Climate Project in Nashville in January of 2007 at Session 4. Jordan is the Senior Merchandising Manager, eCommerce for Walmart China. He was also Director of Strategic Services for Beyond Interactive, one of the first digital advertising agencies in the U.S., founded in 1997 and sold to Grey Global Group in 1999.
Previously Mr. Berke worked as the Senior Manager, Strategy and Finance for Walmart Asia, Operations Manager for Walmart Stores, and MBA Leadership Manager for Walmart Stores. In his role as Operations Manager for Walmart, Jordan helped introduce Walmart's Personal Sustainability Project, a program designed to engage Walmart's 1.1 million U.S. associates to adopt sustainability in their daily lives. The program resulted in hundreds of thousands of associates choosing to recycle more regularly, buy more organic products, and replace their light bulbs at home with CFLs. Jordan has his B.A. degree from the University of Michigan where he studied business and Chinese. Jordan is also active with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washtenaw County. Jordan and his wife, Alice, currently reside in Hong Kong.
