Meet Our Presenters


Carol Butler

Broomall, Pennsylvania, United States

Carol Butler was trained at The Climate Project in Nashville in April of 2007 at Session 6.  Carol joins us as a presenter with a background in insurance management, having worked 37 years as an Agency Resources Manager for State Farm Insurance Companies.

Butler currently holds the position of Environmental Program Specialist at the Pennsylvania Resources Council located in Ridley Creek State Park, Delaware County, PA. Carol is passionate about environmental issues. In her current role, she educates businesses, municipalities, and communities about litter prevention, recycling, billboard proliferation control, and energy conservation.  One of the more popular presentations she developed is “Living a Greener Life Style”. In addition, she formed a local coalition to fight billboards in the 4 county area surrounding Philadelphia.

Ms. Butler holds all her insurance licenses and has her CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) Designation. She has a B.A. in Mathematics and an M.B.A. from West Chester University, located in West Chester, PA. Carol is interested in history and serves on the Board of Directors for the 1696 Thomas Massey House in Marple Township, Broomall, PA.
