Meet Our Presenters


Jerry Cappel

Louisville , Kentucky, United States

Jerry Cappel was trained at The Climate Project in Nashville in October of 2008 at the Faith Session. Jerry is the Associate for Justice Ministries at St. Matthews Episcopal Church and the Environmental Coordinator for Province IV of The Episcopal Church.  He is also the President of Kentuckiana Interfaith Community and the President of Kentucky Interfaith Power and light. 

Cappel was previously Rector at Resurrection Episcopal Church, Editor at Smyth and Hewlys Publishing, and Author/Editor at Smyth and Hewlys Publishing.  He also was a doctoral student by Kentucky where he completed his doctoral dissertation of the educational impact of the administrative process in congregations as organizations.

Mr. Cappel holds a B.A. in Bible form Lubbock Christian University, a Master of Theology from Harding Graduate School of Religion, and a Doctoral in Philosophy from Southern Baptist Theology Seminary.
