Erik Daugherty

Joelton, Tennessee, United States

Erik Daugherty left Nashville, TN over ten years ago to earn his graduate degree in International Sustainable Development from Lund University/Sweden, one of the world’s top international programs.  He has since worked in Washington DC on transportation, renewable energy, climate change, and international trade issues and more recently worked in Austria as a project leader on Climate Change research for a pan-European project.  Erik finally returned to his hometown of Nashville to start a business that seeks to help other small businesses and home-owners improve their lives and their community by providing innovative energy-efficient technologies and products. 

 Erik founded E3 INNOVATE, LLC (www.E3innovate.com) to provide Home-Efficiency services; such as, Comprehensive Energy Audits, Home-Performance Improvements (Home-Star), Spray Foam Insulation, Clean Sealed Crawlspaces, Home-Certification Facilitation in national ENERGY STAR, NAHB Green, EarthCraft House, and LEED for HOMES programs.  It is Erik's goal to help address the issue of Climate Change through smart energy-efficiency improvements to the residential housing stock in the Southeast, USA where there is tremendous opportunities.

Erik was trained as a presenter for The Climate Project during the sixth training session, held in Nashville in April of 2007. In addition to serving as a presenter, he enjoys speaking in many different forums on these multi-disciplinary topics. Erik lives in Nashville with his wife and two(2) young children.

The Climate Project is Al Gore's climate change leadership program and is a part of the Alliance for Climate Protection, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. TCP's mission is to educate the public about the harmful effects of climate change and to work toward solutions at a grassroots level worldwide. Please specify that your gift should be allocated to The Climate Project fund. Unless otherwise indicated, donations are considered unrestricted and will be used by the Alliance to fulfill its overall mission and goals.
