India 1.Local Environment Day:
Since the problems are unique to the individual area, awareness should be created to the people in that area to celebrate local environment day. People in the same area has to sit and talk about their local problems and has to come with solutions regarding protecting, maintaining and developing their environment. If they require any help, they may approach the scientists working in the environment department in the nearby colleges.
2. Using Renewable Energy Technologies: Government has to create awareness among people regarding alternative renewable energy technologies and encourage the people buying renewable energy appliances for domestic power use. Since middle class and the upper class people can afford, they have to come forward and install the renewable energy equipments at their home. The advantage of using renewable energy for domestic applications is the less importance on reliability of power supply which is very important for industries where short power leads to higher loss in critical process industries. All industries have to go for green buildings and they have to at least get their lighting supply from wind and solar.
3. Controlling Population Growth: Uncontrolled population growth is the major cause for higher rate of exploitation of Earth's resources since the resources are exhausted at rate which our Earth cannot replenish. Hence the local government and the foreign government have to take stringent actions against population growth. Family which is having more than two children has to be given reduced local government benefits; but their basic needs must be satisfied by the local government. The foreign countries have to restrict the entry clearance to the family which is having more than two children. Why I state two children is, this number at least will control the population not to grow further.
